Our client is one of Canada 's leading integrated retail pharmacy networks, with over 1,500 corporate, franchise, and independent pharmacies across Canada.
The Challenge
The client needed to move quickly to accommodate rapid change and new business requirements. Due to a recent merger, they needed to scale their infrastructure quickly and enhance their catalogue management capabilities.
The Solution
VisionMAX delivered an end-to-end retail solution using IBM WebSphere Commerce Pro IBM Catalogue Manager, and several proprietary solutions.
The entire group's store catalogue operations now run on a three-server, redundant environment with load-balancing and fail-over using a Cisco Local Director load balancer. VisionMAX was able to complete all work--including full migration and testing--on time and on budget.
The Results
VisionMAX eliminated business process inefficiencies and strengthened customer buying and support relationships across disparate systems. Ultimately, VisionMAX delivered a more positive shopping experience for the client's customers.
