Senior Consultant & Team Leader

Summary

VisionMAX, a top-rated boutique IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a skilled Senior Consultant ∓ Team Leader, with 3 or more years' experience, to lead a variety of interesting projects at leading clients. We are a modern IT consulting company with top-tier clients such as Bell Canada, Ontario and Federal Government, Toronto Police Services, Sprint USA, GE, Canada Life, Scotiabank, Kraft, 3M, Sears, and Hudson's Bay Company.

The successful candidate will be able to work both at our head office in Mississauga, as well as at client sites within the GTA. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required for this position, as it will require significant interaction with peers and clients.

This position requires a university degree in Computer Science or Computer/Software/Electrical Engineering.

Technical Skills

• Top-notch J2EE Development skills (Java Servlets, JSP, EJB, Design Patterns, Struts, MVC, etc.)
• Web-services experience (XML, HTTP, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI)
• Experience with both Unix/Linux and Windows environments is an asset
• Websphere, Tomcat/Apache, and/or BEA Java application server experience
• Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server, and/or MySQL database experience
• Familiar with messaging technologies
• .Net, C/C++, C# is an asset
• Rational UML and Object Modeling a definite asset
