Mike Kinrys
Director, Business Development

Mike is Director, Business Development at VisionMAX. In this role, Mike is responsible for making potential customers aware of the business benefits that VisionMAX can provide. He does this through meeting potential clients, writing proposals, arranging speaking engagements at industry association events, developing marketing materials, building relationships with Business Partners such as IBM and Arrow ECS, and writing feature articles for various business publications (e.g., CMA Management magazine, International Customer Service Association newsletter).

Mike is a fervent believer in the power of technology to make people’s working lives easier. Mike joined VisionMAX after seven years as a systems consultant with Andersen Consulting, followed by 20 years at Nortel. Mike continues to work with clients on ways to cut costs and improve productivity.

Mike’s accounting and consulting background enables him to highlight the business benefits from new solutions, be they improved customer satisfaction, lower costs, increased revenue, or faster time-to-market. During his career, he has implemented solutions for financial, manufacturing, distribution, and order entry and billing areas.

Mike understands the critical importance of customer service. As a key liaison between the client and the rest of the VisionMAX team, Mike ensures that any client concerns are addressed quickly and completely.

Mike received his BA and MBA from York University. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and had earlier received CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) and CMC (Certified Management Consultant) designations.
