Michael Christensen
Director, Solutions Delivery Media & Finance

Serving as Director, Solutions Delivery, Mike is responsible for ensuring VisionMAX meets and exceeds project delivery expectations. His breadth and depth of experience at all levels helps VisionMAX ensure that the concepts and solutions we commit to are properly managed, designed and delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet and exceed customer expectations.

Prior to joining VisionMAX, Mike served as Vice President of Engineering with US-based KoolConnect Technologies, which he joined in the startup phase to lead the design and development of the initial Interactive Media System. Following a successful launch, he was key in pioneering unique industry features such Portal Management, the KoolCentral Management System, Guest Relationship Management, and the Royalty & Billing System, as well as helping design solutions for other multi-dwelling units (MDUs) and fiber ring architectures.

Prior to joining KoolConnect, Mike was Project Manager as well as Chair of the Senior Technology Group with consulting firms AT&T Canada and DMC in Toronto, where he focused on large-scale new-technology projects in the financial industry for clients such as AGF Management, BMO Bank of Montreal/Nesbitt-Burns, and AdminSource UK. Key projects included the Fund Performance Analysis System, Marketing Fulfillment System, Transfer Agency System, and the Retail Trading System. Mike has also worked in New Technology R&D within STS Systems, developing Business Intelligence software for major North American retail chains, and has also been engaged in the consumer electronics, legal, warehousing, and chemical industries.

Mr. Christensen holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Concordia University, and an MBA from University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
