Background
Canada Life is one of the leading insurance and wealth management companies in Canada. They are part of Great-West Life Assurance Company.

The Challenge
The Canada Life Assurance Company management was faced with time, distance and cost challenges associated with managing, processing and collaborating on their Human Resources compensation information for thousands of employees. Managers and senior executives had to spend a dedicated two week period, and an additional 4 weeks every year to track, assess and process employee compensation information at review times.

The Solution
Visionmax provided a seasoned, cohesive team to deliver a solution for Canada Life. After a comprehensive modeling session, Visionmax designed and built a highly scalable, integrated solution, based on a J2EE Java-compliant application and IBM's WebSphere technology.

The custom solution was built on Open Standards and designed to support future wireless requirements. The team designed, built, tested, and delivered their application on budget and ahead of schedule.

The Results
Visionmax delivered significant time and cost savings to Canada Life by automating the employee review process. Today, Canada Life’s 700+ managers can process over 5,000 employee reviews in less than a week.
