A framework is a reusable piece of software flow and metadata logic.  This series of processes and flows can be combined into a “project” which is the unit of work that VisionEngine uses to group like processes, flow and metadata.  VisionMAX groups Core Components into Frameworks to create applications to handle specific business functions.

Descriptions of the VisionEngine Frameworks are shown below.  They are grouped into the following categories:

Data Management

Data Management Frameworks provide common functions that deal with managing data (customer, product, sales, etc.) used to run a business.

 

Billing and Retail Frameworks

These frameworks are available to handle specific functions done in the retail environment.

 

Transaction Processing and
Systems Admin

These Frameworks facilitate the processing of individual transactions.

 

Inquiry and Reporting Frameworks

These Frameworks allow users to retrieve information from the application in the
format that they want.

 

Customer Interface

The Customer Interface frameworks provide
multiple ways to communicate with customers.
